Clique College is organizing a higher education and career guidance expo titled “Next Step” in association with JCI Maldives and other partners which is to be held on 24th and 25th November 2019. The event is targeted for students has completed their O’Levels and A’Levels this year.

During school days most students focus on exams and getting a good result. Once they finish exams, many students wonder what to do next. Some students wait for their exam results hoping to pursue further studies in a College or University. However, many students are not aware about the opportunities available in Maldives. While there are several fields that students can engage in as a career, many students do not know how or where to find these information. Likewise, many students are reluctant to go for a job interview since they have little knowledge of how to prepare themselves.

Hence, Next Step expo organized by Clique College, will bring together HR managers of leading organizations to guide students on how to prepare a CV and interview.

Furthermore, the expo will provide opportunities for students who do not immediately want to apply for a job or higher studies but wish to gain some experience in fields of interest. In this regard, students will be exposed to volunteer opportunities, sports and fitness, baking, grooming and beauty, etc.

Leading employers in Maldives will provide information on types of jobs available in these organizations for O’Level and A’Level students. Finally, students will also learn about higher education opportunities and scholarships  available at Clique College.
