Students who have just completed their secondary education or have just started their career in tourism
sector can start at this stage. The Foundation Diploma in Hospitality and Tourism is approved as a MQA
Advanced Certicate program. On completion of this level students will also receive a CTH certificate of completion recognizing the skills gained at foundation stage. Furthermore, students will have plenty of opportunities to engage with the vibrant and exciting tourism industry of the Maldives.

Entry criteria:

Applicants must meet one of the following entry criteria:

  • GCE O’Level/SSC 3 passes (‘C’ and above) OR
  • Completed MNQF Level 3 qualification

Alternate Entry Criteria:

Alternatively, you may gain entry by meeting the following criteria:

  • 18 years old with 1 year work experience AND
    ability to communicate in the language of instruction

  3. Tourism and Hospitality Industry
  4. Essentials of Tourism and Hospitality Operations

Class timing: 6.00pm to 10.00pm (3-4 days a week) (tentative)

Course fee: 2500/ per month (12 months)
